While EBU is not “on hold”, there are currently bigger priorities on top of obvious constraints to our activity.
As the executives of EBU we are constantly monitoring the situation and maintaining contact as it pertains many upcoming activities of EBU. With any decision we make, your well-being and everyone’s well-being is our priority.
Our May Board meeting had to be cancelled and the next meeting will be in October.
The Oral Exam in Egypt had also to be cancelled and we are working on finding a new date, most probably by the end of the year.
Site visits from the Certification Committee that had not already been done were postponed.
While we are still judging how the situation evolves, we hope that we’ll be able organize the FEBU Oral Exam in June as planned.
